In my previous post I mentioned the discovery of various archaeological finds in Bulgaria this past weekend. The ring itself has a clear inscription in Greek. It may have been used as an official stamp, since, from what I can read, the letters are depicted in reverse. The inscription reads: ΤΗΡΗΤΟΣ ΣΗΥΣΑ (Τηρητος Σηυσα). Jeremy,
Your blog is very interesting. Its neet to have the mix of archaeology and Greek grammar as well as other Greek intelligensia information. I will keep coming back to it to see your posts!
Thanks, Ben, for visiting. I wish I could post more frequently, but I will post in this field when I have time.
